LENEXA, KS — Parnelli Award-winning acoustician / designer Sam Berkow has joined the team at Henderson Engineers, a building system engineering firm with offices in more than 14 cities across the U.S. and owned by its 1,000 employees — more than 250 of which are professional engineers.
The company focuses on talented system engineers who bring technical expertise and innovative design solutions for systems from mechanical, electrical and plumbing to fire and life safety, refrigeration, audio video and telecom, security, acoustics and more.
Berkow’s new position is as a project director in the company’s Venue Division, although he will also contribute to Henderson Engineers’ Entertainment and Low-Voltage Divisions.
Concerning the change, Berkow also added “I am also extremely happy that the core members of the SIA Acoustics team have joined me in becoming part of the Henderson team.”
Among Berkow’s past projects include: NYC’s Jazz at Lincoln Center, The SFJazz Center (San Francisco), Jazz St. Louis (St. Louis), The Pearl at the Palms (Las Vegas) and many more.
