FARMINGDALE, NY — Group One Ltd. has appointed Sal “Chip” Sciacca to the post of Technical Support – DiGiCo. The New York-based engineer, who has 20 years of audio experience, reports to Group One’s Jack Kelly, who made the announcement. Sciacca will be providing national technical support for the digital console manufacturer from Group One’s offices here in conjunction with DiGiCo US technical manager Taidus Vallandi.

Prior to joining the company, he most recently served as systems technician and audio engineer for the Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band, which tours with a pair of DiGiCo consoles (SD10 on FOH and SD8 for monitors). Sciacca has also spent many years based in the metro New York area working as a freelance audio engineer for SK Systems, Eastern Stage Productions (ESP) and KM Productions.
