PORTLAND, OR – Audinate announced that David Krall has joined its Board of Directors. Krall formerly served as the president and CEO of Avid Technology, and most recently served as the president and COO of Roku.
Krall is also a member of the board of directors of Progress Software and is a board member and executive chairman of QSecure, Inc. In addition, Krall serves as a strategic advisor for Roku, a manufacturer of streaming media players.
Krall's prior operational experience includes serving as president and COO of Roku (2010), president and CEO of QSecure (2008-2010) and as president and CEO of Avid Technology (2000-2007). Prior to Avid, Krall served as VP of Engineering and as COO of Digidesign.
Krall's experience includes new product development, integration of software and hardware solutions, strategy formation and general management, for companies large and small. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master's of Electrical Engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a master of business administration degree, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School.
