Biamp Adds to Tech Support, Global Sales Teams

BEAVERTON, OR – Biamp Systems has appointed Justin Stout as Midwest regional manager and Brent Bowman as applications engineer in its North American offices. Prior to joining Biamp, Stout was the director of market development for Cambridge Sound Management. Bowman most recently worked as a senior engineer for Baker Audio Visual.

Biamp Systems, a provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced that Justin Stout has joined Biamp as the new Midwest regional manager and Brent Bowman as an application engineer; both will be based in North America.

“Justin’s rich experience from the consultant side of our industry will continue to keep our customers’ needs top of mind,” said Chris Chandler, sales development director for the Southern Americas at Biamp Systems. “We’re excited to see how 2017 unfolds now that he’s part of the Biamp team.”

Stout brings a decade of AV design and consultation experience to his role. Prior to joining Biamp, he was the director of market development for Cambridge Sound Management. Stout holds a degree in audio/acoustics from Columbia College Chicago and is a member of InfoComm International, the Acoustical Society of America, and ASTM International.

With more than 20 years of pro AV experience, Bowman is heavily entrenched in the industry. He most recently worked as a senior engineer for Baker Audio Visual, providing comprehensive program, design, testing, engineering and training support. Prior to that, he was a project manager for Sensory Technologies/Markey’s Video Images where he designed commercial AV, control, collaboration and video conferencing systems.

“Brent brings two decades worth of pro-AV experience to our applications engineering team,” shared Scott Wieser, applications engineering manager at Biamp Systems. “His knowledge and personal interest in the industry will enable him to assist integrators, consultants, and end users on multiple levels.”
