HAMPSHIRE, U.K. Audient further invests in tech support with the addition of Daniel Mills to the team.

More details from Audient (www.audient.com):

Since the recent upgrade and simplification of the online technical help desk which included the addition of factsheets and answers to many frequently asked questions, the British manufacturer has prided itself on a speedy, informative response to technical questions.

Daniel steps into the role as Technical Support Agent to assist with questions from Audient owners new and old, and brings with him youth, a passion for sound synthesis, programming and in particular, an appreciation for great sounding recording.

“I love Audient after using the ASP8024 desk hooked up to a pair of Genelec monitors during a concert at the Birmingham Conservatoire. I’d never heard audio sound that good before,” he says, adding: “I also love how that same sound can be squeezed into a box as small as the iD14 and ever since I’ve gotten my hands on one here at Audient, I’ve been playing as much music through it as I possibly can.”

Audient’s foray in the home recording market has already proved successful, with high performance audio interfaces iD22 and iD14, as well as an eight-channel mic pre ASP880 raising the bar for project studios around the globe. Every single one of these Audient products – including ASP800, which is set to ship imminently – features the renowned console mic pres, originally designed by David Dearden for the flagship ASP8024 mixing desk.

So Daniel joins the team at an exciting time. He also dabbles in photography, guitar playing and has a self-professed ability to “…make a killer espresso”, all of which will stand him in good stead at Audient HQ.
