ORLANDO and STATEN ISLAND, NY – 1 Sound, a new, made-in-the-USA speaker company founded by acclaimed audio engineer, Lou Mannarino, unveiled a full line of products at InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, FL last month.

Lou has been working in the audio and music industry for over 35 years, mixing artists including Paul McCartney, Jay-Z, Bon Jovi, the New York Philharmonic, to name a few. He has designed audio systems for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center for the Arts, Four Seasons Hotels and many other notable venues.
Modern installations demand compact, full range speakers with versatile mounting accessories, clean and elegant form factors and detailed control over coverage. Mannarino began designing the 1 SOUND line with these factors in mind.
The product line debuted at INFOCOMM 2019 to rave reviews. Highlights included:
1S-MS34 MS Speaker system provides a “mono surrounded by stereo” soundstage from a single compact enclosure. This new technology attracted many return visits as audio experts brought their friends back to hear – great solution for under balcony, front fill.
1S-C5 Full range 5″ coaxial speaker system utilizes ferro fluid dome tweeter for smooth response on and off axis, 5″ passive radiator for generous low end output. This demo, coupled with the 1S-CSUB210 subwoofer drew many compliments for natural sound and precise imaging. LIke all 1 SOUND speaker systems, the 1S-C5 can be installed outdoors.
1S-C6 Full range 6″ coaxial speaker system utilizes ferro fluid dome tweeter for smooth response on and off axis, 6″ passive radiator for generous low end output. precise imaging. LIke all 1 SOUND speaker systems, the 1S-C6 can be installed outdoors.
1S-CSUB210 Steerable 2X10″ Subwoofer. Choose Omni, Endfire or Cardioid operation via amplifier presets. True LF pattern control in a relatively compact enclosure.
1S-FSUB45 FSUB45 Low profile Subwoofer utilizing 4 5″ drivers with 10″ Passive Radiator. Response down to 39 hz in a cabinet only 7″ high. Perfect for hiding in corporate or hospitality installations.
All 1 SOUND speaker systems will be manufactured in the USA. While almost all current manufacturers in the pro audio industry are now manufacturing overseas, Mannarino sees the advantages of quick turnaround times, control over the supply chain and the prestige of the “Made in the USA” label as advantages that favor USA manufactured products.
