COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Westone Laboratories, Inc., is partnering with the Rêve Women’s Tour de France project to raise awareness and funds for the Bikes Belong Foundation in an historic Grand Tour ride.

More details from Westone (www.westonemusicproducts.com):

“Westone is proud to partner with this dynamic group of ladies and support their fundraising efforts for the Bikes Belong Foundation,” says President and CEO Lynn Kehler.

“Our commitment to the cyclist community is a key element of our focused extension of our professional grade products into the expanding activity market.”

Westone will be equipping Rêve team riders with the latest in mission specific in-ear solutions. The custom product suite includes Elite Series ES3x custom earphones, EPIC MICS communication cables, and specialized sleeping hearing protection.

“Over the last few years we have worked very closely with professional cyclists to gain an understanding of their needs both on and off the bike. We’ve developed a suite of unique in-ear products that allow them to perform at their highest level. This latest collaboration will take these products to the ultimate test of a three-week Grand Tour,” commented Westone Marketing Director David Slepak.

“Our team is incredibly grateful for the support Westone is giving us. Riding more than two thousand miles in 21 days is a significant physical challenge, but it is the unrelenting daily grind of hotels and inter-stage travel that makes a grand tour so tough mentally. Our team is extremely grateful to have Westone technology supporting us… it will ensure our riders get all-important sleep each night, and it will deliver a musical experience to motivate on long alpine climbs and relax in the team car en route to the next stage,” added Rêve Team Director Michael Robertson. “The riders couldn’t be happier.”
