Dirtybird Records and Void Acoustics team up once again for another summer tour. The 2016 Dirtybird BBQ tour will stop in cities such as Seattle, Brooklyn and Detroit.

Void Acoustics is proud to sponsor the 2016 Dirtybird BBQ tour. Claude VonStroke and the Dirtybird Records family hit the road this summer with a massive Void sound system. It all kicks off on Aug. 13 in San Francisco, the hometown of Dirtybird Records.

Ten years ago, the Dirtybird family got together for a grill party and some good music in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Those early free parties, thrown using a sound-system bought on layaway, were pivotal in defining the Dirtybird sound and attitude.

Today the sell-out crowds attending Dirtybird BBQs throughout North America experience bigger bass and crystal clear highs through advanced sound systems provided by Void Acoustics with the support of Void’s production partner in America, AIS.

“The Dirtybird BBQ is such a unique event; it’s like one big family reunion BBQ,” says Matt Edgar, Audio Integration Services. “It has been AIS’ job to make sure the Void Acoustics sound systems are set up, sounding great and there are nothing but smiles from the audience and artists. If you know Dirtybird, you know how important deep bouncing bass is; the Void Acoustics sound systems that we deploy help us deliver that perfect sound every single time.”

“The label has proven to be one of North America’s most definitive dance music labels, with its distinct blend of techno and house with a splash of 90s hip-hop. The Dirtybird Records family may take its music seriously, but they are not serious people. The ethos underpinning the label has remained the same since those impromptu park parties – good times, good people, good food and above all, good music,” he adds.

With VonStroke at the helm, they expect the core Dirtybird family and some new faces and special guests joining him on the road this summer, along with the original Dirtybird BBQ grill master, Grillson.

“We are so grateful for Void’s continued support and consistently bangin’ sound,” says Dirtybird Records boss, Claude VonStroke. “The teams’ care and enthusiasm ensures our party sound is top notch for artists and fans alike. As Dirtybird’s events continue to expand we’re excited to have Void along for the ride.”
