LAS VEGAS – At Infocomm 2016, TiMax US distributor 1602 Group is focusing on the integration of playback, spatialization and show control functionality of the TiMax SoundHub processor, plus a new suite of customizable TiMax Portal browser-based touch-screen controllers. Also featured will be the new TiMax SoundHub-M media server version for exhibits, experience and general AV integration applications. Visit them at booth C12314.
More details from Outboard (www.outboard.co.uk):
Outside of its theatre vocal-localization core sector, TiMax has been rapidly growing into all manner of AV, experience and exhibit installations, handling system management, playback, dynamic 3D spatialization and show control or a combination of all these. The Infocomm booth will showcase examples such as the Atlanta Shuttle Exhibit, Fremont Street Experience, Milan Expo UK pavilion, National Gallery Soundscapes exhibit, Japanese planetariums and several European museums.
TiMax can run itself and other peripherals to an internal Date Time scheduler, or just as readily slave to external showcontrollers such as Medialon, Crestron and AMX, plus simplified show programming to put directly into the hands of directors and creatives.
TiMax will be exhibited alongside a new modular networked showcontrol platform called AV-Portal, developed by 1602 Group. The AV-Portal Transport and multiformat protocol Translator activities are programmed in its own object-based Controller software, which also builds the TiMax Portal touch-screens using advanced browser-based HTML5 and Java tools. AV Portal can be driven by sequenced XML command events directly from the TiMax SoundHub, programmed in the TimeLine editor.
