KITCHENER, Ontario — TC Group Americas has announced that a Lab.gruppen & Lake Certification: Level 1 training will be held on March 10 & 12 during SXSW in Austin, Texas. Aldridge Marketing will host the training.

The day-long program (10am – 6pm) is designed to introduce key aspects of Lab.gruppen and Lake technologies and develop user familiarity with the companies’ industry-leading tour sound hardware and software platforms.
“This seminar is for system techs and up and coming system engineers doing combat audio,” explains Josh Evans, Technical Manager for TC Group. “Folks that are doing audio day in and day out, moving from one venue to another, troubleshooting systems and trying to make them work.”
Both Evans and Colin Studybaker, Tour Sales for TC Group, will present the training.
Studybaker adds, “The training will include system optimization utilizing Smaart 7 with Lake integration and a look at the new Lake card that can be integrated into the new Dante equipped Yamaha CL Series consoles. It should be a very productive day for everyone attending.”
