MIAMI – Four volunteers were injured in the parking lot of Sun Life Stadium on Feb. 2 when a section of staging being prepared for the Super Bowl XLIV halftime show tipped over. The injuries were serious enough to warrant hospitalization but none were life-threatening, according to reports.
Reports indicated that the four were moving equipment for a small stage when a staging element fell over. A piece of staging outside south Florida's Sun Life Stadium collapsed Tuesday night, sending four volunteer workers to area hospitals.
