JERSEY, PA – Stage 2 Productions, which manages production of the annual Jersey festival, Grassroots, used Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing consoles throughout the site, including iDR10, iDR-48 and iDR-32 MixRacks with iLive-176, iLive-T112 and iLive-R72 control surfaces. The artist lineup for the festival included Arrested Development, Easy Star All-stars, Ben Howard and Seasick Steve.
“Once again iLive performed faultlessly, and guest engineers very quickly got to grips with the logical and intuitive iLive operating system,” said Rob Richie, manager of Stage 2. “The iPad app and laptop control via iLive editor on our Macs adds to the system’s overall flexibility.”

Richie credited the system, not just for its performance, ease of use and control surface, but also for its scalability. “I really like the whole iLive approach to digital mixing both in terms of the surface layout, and the fact that it is one system with many components that can be interchanged depending on the requirements. Swapping to a larger format iLive from a smaller member of the family needs no additional learning or understanding.”

Stage 2 Productions also used iLive for a variety of events during the company’s summer season – handling monitor duties for Russell Watson, FOH and monitors for Leslie Garrett, and FOH and monitors for Alfie Boe, among other events and shows. The soundco had plans to use the gear for other shows as well – Jersey Live, Alfie Boe and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, among others.

“I will definitely be increasing our iLive stock in the near future,” Richie concluded.
