NASHVILLE, TN – Sound Image is supporting the 29-stop North American "Flatts Fest" Tour, featuring Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Easton Corbin and Justin Moore, with Harman's Studer Vista 5 SR digital consoles at FOH and monitors.
Sound Image is also providing 54 JBL VerTec VT4889 fullsize line array elements, 34 VT4880 fullsize arrayable subwoofers and Crown IT12000HD amplifiers for the tour, which features an entirely new stage production and interactive festival atmosphere.
"We have a longstanding affiliation with Harman for more than a decade, utilizing a variety of Harman equipment," noted Jon Garber, longtime FOH engineer for Rascal Flatts. "Studer, JBL and the entire Harman system helps us tremendously," he added.
Garber, who has used the Vista 5 SR digital console since its introduction nearly four years ago, credited its user-friendly interface for helping him get anyone, from "old-school" FOH engineers to rookies, up to speed on the functionality of the Vista 5 SR.
"The Vista's are performing very well," he added, also crediting their Vistonics interface, ergonomics and workflow. "They can handle everything from playing at a 20,000-fan closed venue to the outdoor amphitheatres we are visiting during this tour."
