NEW YORK — Studio Instrumental Rentals (SIR) noted the company’s continuation of its relationship with Jimmy Fallon and his house band, The Roots as the late night host shifts from NBC’s Late Night slot to the Tonight Show on NBC. The company provided backline support for each of the artists during the opening week of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, including Lady Gaga, Tim McGraw and Justin Timberlake. The opening week of the show drew an average of 8.490 million viewers per night, making it the most-watched week of Tonight shows in 20 years..
SIR NY also noted its continuing support of NBC’s Late Night show, with Seth Meyers, Fallon’s former colleague on Saturday Night Live, now serving as host.
