NEW YORK – BML-Blackbird worked with SIA Acoustics for an audio upgrade at New York’s Ellis Island. BML-Blackbird provided new L-Acoustics Kiva II line array elements for the project, chosen for their compact size and 100 degrees of horizontal coverage. The project also involved an acoustical baffling system to minimize acoustical reverberation throughout the space.
Patti Golden, director of sales at Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, credited BML-Blackbird for both the audio upgrade and the lighting design they provided for the space, along with the company’s “exceptional customer service.”
