NILES, IL, and PORTLAND, OR — Shure and Audinate announced a licensing agreement for Audinate’s Dante digital audio networking technology. Dante networking enables multiple channels of audio to be distributed to a variety of devices over a single Ethernet cable, promising reliable, low latency audio transport that can coexist safely on the same network as IT and control data.

The first Shure products to include Dante networking capability are the ULXD4D Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver and ULXD4Q Quad-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver. These dual and quad channel systems are part of the new ULX-D wireless line and are being launched at InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas.
