NILES, IL — Shure Inc. named Audio Biz Michigan as the company’s Representative of the Year for fiscal year 2008/2009. Audio Biz Michigan president Randy Stenson, vice president Rick Brown and Steve Meyers, sales representative, received the award at InfoComm in Orlando, Fla. “We are very excited to present Audio Biz Michigan with our 2009 Rep of the Year award,” said Jim Schanz, Shure’s director of U.S. and Canada field sales. “One cannot talk about the state of Michigan without acknowledging the tough economy the state has faced for years. The fact that Audio Biz Michigan has been able to grow our business in this region and continue to offer great support to our customers during these challenging economic times, is a testament to the tenacity of this organization.”
Representing Shure throughout the state of Michigan, Audio Biz Michigan outsold its quota for Shure in nearly all key categories.
“Audio Biz Michigan was selected as our Rep of the Year for several reasons,” Schanz said. “The entire team at Audio Biz has committed its resources to working with our customers to not only grow their business, but to look for ways that enable our customers to stay on the forefront of technology through training and education.
“At Shure,” Schanz added, “we feel that the interaction with our customer must continually go beyond the everyday sale. Being there for dealer events, the planning and designing of new projects, challenging installations, and day-to-day opportunities that arise is pivotal in partnering with our customers. Audio Biz Michigan shares that same work ethic.”
