NILES, IL – Shure Inc. is marking 85 years in professional audio. The gear has been used from performers like Elvis Presley and history-shapers including Martin Luther King Jr., and every U.S. President since Lyndon Johnson.
"We're honored that our customers and channel partners have helped us to achieve 85 years of success in the professional audio industry," said Sandy LaMantia, Shure president and CEO.  "The Company's history of success is a tribute to our founder, S.N. Shure.  His dedication to quality and service is evident in every Shure product and every Shure Associate."

Still spry for an octogenarian, Shure has continued to introduce a stream of new products, including the Beta 27 Supercardioid Condenser Microphone and KSM313 and KSM353 Ribbon Microphones, touted for being able to deliver studio sound quality while living up to the rigors of live performance.

Other recent new gear includes the Shure PSM900 PM system, SE425 and SE535 Sound Isolating earphones and SRH professional headphones
