CHICAGO, IL – Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation Inc. has entered into partnership with Shure to make both company's products more accessible. The product bundle includes Sensaphonics custom-fit silicone sleeves with Shure's new SE535 and SE425 earphones, available through Sensaphonics' online store.
"A lot of people need both the performance of a custom earphone and the flexibility of a universal-fit design," said Sensaphonics president and founder, Dr. Michael Santucci. "Churches with multiple worship bands are a perfect example. By adding Sensaphonics sleeves to Shure earphones, musicians can get the benefits of a Sensaphonics custom fit at a substantially reduced cost."
Two packages are available. The Shure Triple-Driver Custom Bundle, featuring SE535 earphones, is priced at $590. The Shure Dual-Driver Custom bundle, which includes the new SE425, sells for $420.
After placing orders online, customers ship their ear impressions to Sensaphonics. From these, custom-fit sleeves are handcrafted in the Sensaphonics lab, and the sleeves and earphones are shipped to the purchaser together.
"Shure has done a great job of designing the new SE Series earphones," said Santucci. "Our custom sleeve design for these is noticeably smaller and fits more securely than any previous Shure model. While earphones made entirely of soft-gel silicone are superior, these new bundles allow customers to experience custom fit at a lower price, with a clear upgrade path."

Because the new Shure SE Series earphones are all the same physical size, a pair of Sensaphonics custom sleeves is interchangeable among the SE535, SE425 and SE315 models. However, sleeves from all previous Shure models do not fit the new SE Series (and vice versa). Sensaphonics custom sleeves are $150 when purchased separately.
As an authorized Shure dealer and the recommended supplier of custom sleeves, Sensaphonics offers in-stock assurance and a discount when the products are purchased together.
The Shure/Sensaphonics Custom-fit Bundles are available only at the Sensaphonics online store.
