LAS VEGAS, NV – The second annual Audioversity Expo, held by Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc., drew more than 500 attendees to the Las Vegas Hilton Aug. 24-25. Building on the inaugural event, which drew 475 to Soundcheck Nashville Aug. 11-12, 2010, this year's event featured training seminars and panel discussions with Stan Miller, Bernie Becker, Al Siniscal, Robert Bull and Monty Lee Wilkes, among others.
Attendees also heard NEXO and Yamaha loudspeakers used in live music demonstrations, hands-on line array rigging demonstrations, audio-networking clinics and systems solutions. They were also treated to a variety of food and entertainment, and two lucky attendees – Dave Knighton and Kenny Mohs – each won an LS9-16 digital mixing console.
