{mosimage}GAHANNA, OH – Metro Audio Video LLC specified a dBTechnologies DVA line array system for the auditorium at Resurrection Power Church, providing a noticeable difference in audio quality.
Metro Audio's Ed Whitney went with an audio setup that included two DVA dBTechnologies powered line arrays, each one including a DVA S10 single 18" bandpass subwoofer flown at the top, with three T4 three-way elements below to ensure that the sound was evenly distributed.
"The sound seems to be coming from everywhere," noted the church pastor, Rev. Franklin Culver.
"The line array is extremely easy to deploy," said Whitney, who credited the gear for its straightforward configuration and versatility. "We used a DVA Ease Focus and a laser to sight in each element, which proved to work perfectly. The system's itself is surprisingly efficient; we only needed to install one 20-amp circuit to power each array."
"The entire mix of our seven-piece praise band, eight-voice praise team and additional twenty-voice choir at the Resurrection Power Church are no problem for the new system," said the church's sound engineer, Keith Pickett. "It has plenty of headroom, and I can't believe how easy it is to get 'studio quality' sound."
