BATON ROUGE, LA — PreSonus’ second annual user conference, PreSonuSphere 2012, is set to take place Sept. 28-29, 2012 at the Shaw Center for the Arts in Baton Rouge. The event features seminars with tips and techniques for using PreSonus’ StudioLive-series mixers and Studio One 2 DAW. Some of the topics covered will be repeated both days so that one-day attendees won’t miss out.
More details from PreSonus (www.presonus.com):
New this year will be an all-day, hands-on Studio One 2 / StudioLive “Genius Bar” where attendees can get answers to their thorniest Studio One and StudioLive questions.
Last year, more than 200 attendees from Europe, South America, and the United States gathered at the Shaw Center for the Arts for the first PreSonuSphere conference. That one-day conference kicked off the night before with a party that featured performances by Louisiana bands, a jam session, and the PreSonus staff’s traditional home-style jambalaya feast.
At the conference the next day, attendees learned from a variety of music-industry luminaries, exchanged tips and ideas, greeted old friends, and made new ones. Between seminars, they strolled the beautiful downtown Baton Rouge riverfront area and enjoyed the local restaurants and coffee shops.
Topics and speakers will be announced in July 2012, with additional details to follow soon thereafter.
