SHERBROOKE, Quebec, Canada – Plav Audio, Inc., based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, recently purchased Canada's first NEXO GEO T rig, and used it at La Fête du Lac des Nations, a six-day festival that took place in Sherbrooke in mid-July at Parc Jacques-Cartier.
The event hosted more than 30 musical shows featuring artists from Quebec and abroad. With two shows per evening, the festival entertained over 40,000.
Plav Audio's new NEXO GEO T system consists of 16 GEO T4805, four GEO T2815, eight RS18 Ray Subs, eight 4×4 NXAmps with EtherSound cards and four CD18s.
"We purchased the GEO T based on its small size and high output ratio," said Paul Lavigne. "Many times, we have to install a system on a mobile stage and can be limited on height and weight. The GEO T is the only system that fits the criteria with such amazing tone in a small package."
Lavigne also chose the RS18 Ray Subs for the versatility of their Omni or Cardio mode, and also for their small size and high output ratio.
Plav Audio also provided the NEXO GEO T line array to the 15th Canadian National Harley Davidson Rally, which took place in a 300-foot-long interior stadium in Quebec from Aug. 5-7.
