LAS VEGAS, NV — A Parnelli Award is the most prestigious in our industry, because the nominees and winners are selected by a jury of their peers — and that means YOU. Named for world-class production and tour manager, the late Rick “Parnelli” O’Brien, who worked with Queen among many other top acts, the Parnelli awards were founded 12 years ago to honor companies, individuals and products that have demonstrated excellence in the live production industry. This year’s award winners will be announced during the annual Parnelli Awards ceremony and gala dinner, held the evening of October 20, 2012, at the Mirage Resort in Las Vegas.

To participate and add your voice in the selection of companies and individuals, simply click on the link below and enter your choices in as many (or as few) of the nomination categories as you’d like. Then be sure to to hit “submit nominations” to make your vote count. Nominated companies and individuals — up to six for each category — will appear on the final Parnelli Awards ballot, which will be finalized and posted in early September. At that point, the final Parnelli Awards voting will begin. The winners will be presented with their Parnelli Awards at the show.

IT Awards
A much-anticipated part of the Parnelli Awards is the IT (Indispensible Technology) awards, also selected by working professionals — such as yourself — in the industry. You know what gear you find to be indispensable. You wouldn’t be caught dead at a gig without it. So nominate that gear for this year’s IT Indispensable Technology Award. Parnelli Awards Dinner
Be front and center as the industry salutes the finest companies and practitioners at the 12th Annual Parnelli Awards. It’s a night of magic where the industry’s greatest stars gather for good drink, good food and the privilege of honoring our very best. The event takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the world-renowned Mirage Resort in Las Vegas, but don’t wait until then to get tickets.
