BURBANK, CA – Optocore announced plans for a presentation on fiber optic networks, technology and products, to be held at CenterStaging Studios in Burbank on Jan. 18-19 from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Marc Brunke, president and creator of Optocore GmbH, will join Bill Coons, director, and Jeff Priepot, technical sales manager of Optocore NorthAmerica, to lead the two-hour sessions.

Topics will include:

  • Platforms and Technologies – from Ethersound & CobraNet
thru to Dante, AVB and SANE – how they differ and where
    they are best applied
  • Connectivity and Formats – advancements in optics,
opportunities with copper and all those acronyms – AES/EBU,
MADI, and AD/DA as well as SRC (Sample Rate Conversion).
  • Sync and Word Clock – what works and what doesn't and
how to diagnose symptoms in your system

In addition to the theory, there will be product presentations of both the
classic fiber optic-based, 512 channel Optocore network devices
as well as the recently-released SANE series of products that allow 64
independent, synchronous channels with ultra low latency, low jitter
redundant transmission on CAT5.
