QSC & NSL Renew Vows
In 2005, Northern Sound & Light (NSL), a nationally recognized pro audio and lighting dealer based in the Pittsburgh area, was touring the country providing sound reinforcement for the Broadway show, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. Their system was powered exclusively with QSC power amplifiers.
Steve Raslevich, president of NSL, commented in an interview at the time, “At this point, everyone is married to the QSC sound. Combined with the steadfast dependability of the amps and lightweight design, it’s easy to see why this bond has continued to hold fast.”
In the ensuing years, significant changes happened to both companies. NSL shut down their touring operation and became a nationally known reseller of products into multiple markets. QSC Audio found huge growth by expanding their product design and manufacturing to include loudspeakers and processing in addition to power amplifiers. The two companies drifted apart.
Recently the parties were reunited, thanks in part to regional sales representative Ted Bahas, CEO at Techrep Marketing. “Both companies are on a roll, and I felt it was time to bring them back together. Northern Sound & Light committed in a big way as a dealer, and I couldn’t be happier.”
