MISSION, TX – Palm Valley Church recently hired Mankin Media Systems (MMS) of Franklin, TN to design and build a new facility to replace their 600-seat auditorium with a new 2,500-seat auditorium.
The church's goal was to not just add more seating, but to deliver an engaging worship experience. It offers contemporary worship services incorporating acoustic drums, electric guitars, bass, keyboards, acoustic guitars, piano and vocals.
Working with a tight timeline, MMS collaborated with architects, local engineers and contractors to ensure that the new venue's sound system would be optimized, looking after such details as the positioning of structural steel elements and power.
The system includes a NEXO GEO S12 line array system, 12 GEO S1210 boxes, an RS15 sub, one NXAMP 4×1, two NXAMP 4x4s and six PS8 stage wedges. MMS also trained the church volunteers who operate the system.
