NEW YORK – Returning as Live Sound co-chairs for the 131st AES Convention, Henry Cohen and Mac Kerr have once again put together a comprehensive program of live sound seminars in New York's Jacob Javits Convention Center Thursday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct. 23.
On Thursday, prior to exhibits opening, Lab.gruppen's Josh Evans presents "Data Networks as a Digital Audio Transport Mechanism" at 2:30 p.m. and at 4:30 p.m. SIA Acoustics' Sam Berkow presents "Multitrack Recording for the Live Sound Engineer."
On Friday, Lectrosonic's Karl Winkler presents "10 Things to Get Right" at 11:00 a.m. and IATSE Local 1's Mary McGregor demonstrates "Theatrical Microphone Dressing" at 2 p.m.
On Saturday Jim van Bergen discusses "Things I Learned on the Broadway Ladder" at 9 a.m. and at 11 a.m., James Stoffo discusses wireless systems. Robert Scovil interviews Dave Natale at 2:30 pm on Saturday.
