ORLANDO – Lab X Technologies announced its AVB Audio Platform for Analog Devices’ Blackfin processors at InfoComm 2011. The integration of Lab X technology brings a complete AVB firmware suite to the Blackfin VDK development environment, letting customers to take advantage of standards-based connectivity.
The arrangement offers site-based licenses of Lab X’s firmware suite for the Analog Devices ADSP-BF518F processor which has provisions for Ethernet MAC hardware time stamping. The technology provides manufacturers royalty-free deployment of the IEEE standard for an unlimited amount of products.
Lab X and Analog Devices demoed their collaborative efforts at the AVnu Alliance pavilion during Infocomm 2011.
