WASHINGTON, DC – Brad Divens, FOH engineer for Enrique Iglesias, will present two seminars on live mixing. The master classes, presented by JBL Professional and Soundcraft, will take place on Feb. 12 at the JFK Center for the Performing Arts’ REACH campus.

Guests are invited to register and attend a series of masterclasses with Brad ‘fixintogetmixin’ Divens. In addition to currently working as front of house engineer for Enrique Iglesias, Divens has also engineered for Linkin Park, Garbage, Cyndi Lauper, HIM, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Mötley Crüe, Jane’s Addiction and more.
Divens will speak at two exclusive Masterclass events. Both events will take place on Wednesday, February 12 in Studio K at The REACH inside the Kennedy Center, and will be hosted by Soundcraft’s Live Sound Product Specialist, Tom Der. Studio K is multi-purpose performance space, equipped a state-of-the-art JBL VTX A8 rig to deliver Divens’ mixes with pristine sound with unparalleled clarity.
During his ‘Building the Mix’ Masterclass, Divens will discuss and demonstrate his approach to putting together a live mix, including technical topics such as the basics of input gain, EQ, compression, plugins and routing, as well as creative concepts regarding the audience and the artist. During ‘The Music’ Masterclass, Divens will deconstruct live mixes from three different artists and discuss his approach to achieving a polished final mix.
