Michael Vergauwen, 52, died June 28 in a drowning accident in Lake Michigan. Vergauwen was executive vice president and COO of AVI Systems and secretary/treasurer of InfoComm International. “Michael Vergauwen was a valued member of InfoComm’s Board of Directors and was a tireless advocate for the audiovisual industry,” said Jay Rogina, president of InfoComm International. “He offered wise counsel and was a good friend to so many of us in the InfoComm family. He will be missed greatly, and we offer our sincere condolences to Michael’s family and friends.”
