In Memoriam: Don “Tonto” Genovese, 54

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA — Don “Tonto” Genovese, 54, died April 14, 2012, of a heart attack. A native of Queens, NY, he moved from the East Coast to West Coast and points in between, including Sandpoint, ID and the Atlanta, Seattle and Los Angeles areas. Genovese worked on behalf of All Access Staging, Rock-it Cargo and at Avalon Attractions and also ran his own Los Angeles-based transport company, Performance Transfer.

Don was the fourth child and only son of Dorothy and Joseph Genovese. His hobbies included music, golf, fishing, baseball, riding his Harley Davidson and caring for Dewey, his pet dog. Along with other family members, including sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, he is survived by twin sons, Andrew and Joey. Services were held April 18 at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village, CA.
