LONG BEACH, CA — This week we were saddened to hear of the death of journalist and self-described “PR Maven” Diane Gershuny, who lost a lengthy battle with cancer last Monday. She was 53.
Unwilling to give up during her struggles with this disease, she nonetheless continued to create some great journalistic offerings including photos and articles in FRONT of HOUSE on last year’s Barbra Streisand tour and more recently, a detailed Production Profile on Taylor Swift’s “RED” tour in the September 2013 issue of FOH.
During her long and distinguished career doing public relations and writing in the pro audio and M.I. industry, she worked with leading companies such as DiGiCo, Fender, D’Addario Strings, Mackie, Tascam and others, and was published in numerous magazines. Diane was also an avid photographer with a keen eye and a creative flair and her pictures frequently found their way into FRONT of HOUSE.
All of us at FOH will miss Diane Gershuny for her boundless energy, her love of life, great journalistic sense, warm smile and amazing sense of humor. Farewell and thanks for the many times you brightened our world. You will not be forgotten.
