ATLANTA – Crew One Productions, a technical staffing/labor provider with offices in the Southeast U.S., noted the July 2 passing of Atlanta-based crew chief/project coordinator Andy Hansel. The following tribute was posted on the company’s Facebook page.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Andy Hansel. Andy passed away suddenly last Friday, July 2nd at his home in Smyrna, GA.
The Crew One family, and the production world, has lost a brother, a true friend, a mentor, and one of the most genuinely kindhearted and caring individuals any of us had ever known. He was a man of integrity and was someone that would go above and beyond for those he cared about.
Andy had been Crew One Atlanta’s Crew Chief / Project Coordinator since the company’s inception in 1992 and has left a huge impact on so many people in our industry.
To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement, and we are all truly heartbroken to hear about his passing.
We are still waiting to hear about plans for a service or celebration of life gathering, and will update everyone as soon as arrangements are made.
Please keep his friends and family in your thoughts and prayers.
