LAS VEGAS – Every year, the readers of FRONT of HOUSE magazine honor some of the top regional sound companies in the U.S. and Canada, based on reader nominations for the top contenders from five regions in the U.S. and all of Canada. Nominations are now open! We invite all readers to let us know who you think is worthy of stepping up to the podium at the next Parnelli Awards to be honored as Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year. Give us your top choices in your region (and, yes, you can nominate your own company).
Nominations are due by Friday, Aug. 31, at 5 p.m. West Coast time, and 36 regional finalists will be named. Hometown Hero voting takes place during September to narrow the 36 companies down to six regional winners. The names of these six regional finalists will automatically appear on the final Parnelli Awards ballot.
Parnelli voting, which starts in November, will determine which of the six finalists will be presented with the Parnelli Award for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year at the awards dinner set for Jan. 25, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center Hilton in Anaheim, CA, during the Winter NAMM Show.
