ANAHEIM, CA – HK Audio's Elements modular sound reinforcement is now available in the U.S. It promises the benefits of modern line array technology with the portability and easy handling of ultra-compact P.A. systems.
HK Audio said the six-component Elements can be easily put together for a variety of uses, supporting anything from a small speaking engagement to a multi-instrumental concert with a full 3600 watts of FOH power. Elements is based on line array technology, consistent with the sonic performance of other HK Audio product offerings.
Setting up the Elements system and tearing it down again is quick and easy. With E-Connect, HK's proprietary integrated signal routing system, even the largest Elements setup is performance-ready in just a few minutes with a minimum of cabling. The compact and rugged design also makes transporting the system easy, with every configuration fitting into a compact car.
The Elements system consists of the following components:
E435: A mid/high unit made from extruded aluminum. It is based on line array technology and promises a rich, even sound field. It houses four 3.5" broadband speakers and weighs only 5.2 lbs. E-Connect lets the E435 quickly and easily connect with other modules.
EA600: An amp module that blends in well with the E435. The Class D power amp puts out 600 Watts, enough for four mid/high units or one passive sub and two additional mid/high units. It weighs only 6.1 lbs.
E45: This stand is equipped with extendable feet, serving as a base for mid/high units, amp modules or the mounting pole.
E110 SubA: This portable 10-inch subwoofer weighs 41.9 lbs. and promises a precise low end. The digital Class D power amp provides 600 watts, enough to feed another passive subwoofer or two more mid/high units. Equipped with two E-Connect sockets, the E110 SubA also serves as a base for additional elements. It features an integral handle for comfortable handling.
E110 Sub: A passive sub well-suited as an add-on for applications requiring more low-end, powered by an active E110 or an amp module. To accommodate auxiliary elements, this sub is also equipped with an E-Connect socket.
EP1: The mounting pole facilitates rigging up smaller Elements setups. It is continuously adjustable and provides cordless signal routing to the mid/high units.
Three models of protective bags are available. One model holds four mid/high units or amp modules and a mounting pole, another fits one stand, and a third fits one subwoofer.
