ANAHEIM, CA – At NAMM 2025 on Jan. 23, FRONT of HOUSE editor George Petersen lauded the five additional products inducted into the TEC Hall of Fame in 2025. They join more than 185 audio products already inducted in the TEC Hall of Fame over the past 21 years. Among this year’s inductees: E-mu Systems’ Emulator Series Sampling Instruments, introduced in 1981. Petersen recalled how these devices served as a more affordable alternative to Fairlight sampling instruments, even if the floppy disk operations required a bit of patience back in the day. E-mu co-founder Dave Rossum shared the stage at NAMM’s Member Center.
