WOODSTOCK, NY — Fishman supplied SA220 Solo Performance Systems for the live performances at the The Woodstock Invitational Luthier’s Showcase, held in Bearsville Theater here. Fishman also supplied the the house P.A. for the luthier’s exhibition hall. The Woodstock Invitational Luthier’s Showcase is described as a “low-key, laid-back event for the community of acoustic stringed-instrument builders, players, collectors and aficionados.”
The Showcase featured a variety of fine handmade acoustic instruments embodying the best of classic and modern lutherie.
It also gave the public a chance to meet the builders and experience flattop, archtop, manouche and hybrid acoustic guitars along with mandolins, banjos, violins, lutes, ouds and ukuleles.
Live music demos and performances featuring some of the region’s finest musicians were held both days of the festival.
Along with Fishman, supporters included the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Arts, La Bella, D’Addario Strings, Hudson Valley Homes and Land and the Alchemy Cafe.
