SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Event Safety Alliance announces the launch of Event Safety Insights (ESI), a quarterly publication focused on safety issues relevant to all segments of the live event industry.

Event Safety Insights aims to provide readers with the latest safety-related news, features, practices, and technology, and shine a spotlight on companies, non-profit organizations, and individuals helping to create to a safer future for those working at or attending live events.
“Safety is a connective tissue, and the industry has done a fantastic job rallying around the ESA’s cause,” stated Event Safety Alliance Founder and President Jim Digby. “There’s a tremendous desire for actionable information regarding event safety. In launching Event Safety Insights, the ESA hopes to continue the important conversations discussed at events such as the Event Safety Summit and Severe Weather Summit, and highlight the great successes of promoters, production personnel, meeting planners and others who are making safety a priority, and offer opportunities for all of us to learn from their experience.”
The debut issue of Event Safety Insights is focused on preparing for severe weather threat. Features include a look at planning for lightning and extreme heat, National Weather Service recommendations when planning for severe weather, as well as recap of the ESA’s 2016 Severe Weather Summit.
