LOS ANGELES — Empire Pro’s EPU (Empire Pro University) training program continues with an Educational Training and Product Workshop set for the company’s facility at 5675 Mansfield Way, Bell CA in the Los Angeles area. The event is the company’s 18th in-house event workshop, and it will take place May 5, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Titled AV Networking for Today’s Technology, it features sessions titled “Dante Audio Networking Fundamentals” and “Configuring Dante Networks.” The CTS-accredited event will make use of products from Yamaha, Shure, Focusrite and DPA Microphones and will conclude with a Cinco de Mayo-themed celebration.

Yamaha and Shure highlights the collaboration on interfacing the Shure ULX-D wireless systems to the Yamaha CL digital console platform, an all-new feature which will be demonstrated at the workshop. Focusrite and its line of Dante enabled products will be featured. Shure showcases its Dante enabled RF receivers and best practices for RF frequency coordination.
