Clair Calls Death of Michael Jackson “Huge Loss” for Industry

LITITZ, PA — Clair president Troy Clair issued the following statement after the death of Michael Jackson: “Michael Jackson was the consummate professional and a dynamic performer. His death is a huge loss to both the music and live production industries, and we are proud to have had him as a long-standing member of our client roster.” Clair handled sound reinforcement duties for both Michael Jackson and the Jacksons for a number of global tours including Victory (1985), Bad (1989), Dangerous (1993) and HIStory (1997), with several noted front of house engineers, including James “Trip” Khalaf.
