TEMECULA CA – When CBC Technical president, Chris Batchelor, set out to upgrade his Temecula-based audio rental arsenal, he jumped on the VUE al-Class bandwagon with the purchase of an al-Class rig in August of this year.
More details from VUE Audiotechnik (www.vueaudio.com):
Batchelor, who had previously specified VUE in successful installs, chose the system to deliver the highest levels of sonic performance, while also effortlessly handing the firm’s range of live events from Fortune 500 corporate meetings to large-scale outdoor concerts.
The crux of the VUE value proposition and foundation for the firm’s signature sound was Beryllium, the key factor in their decision to expand their VUE footprint to accommodate an increasing number of upscale events in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. CBC’s new al-8 line array system includes al-8 Acoustic Linearity elements, supported by al-12sb subwoofers with dual 18-inch drivers to provide more than enough low-end support for the largest of their jobs.
The al-12sb subwoofers were selected to ensure scaleability for the largest outdoor events. When flying is prohibited, the integrated rigging allows for ground-stacking al-8s on top of the subs . Furthermore, CBC crews can save even more time on-site by pre-rigging the arrays in the shop prior to transport.
CBC Technical has been a VUE partner installing e-class solutions in bars and restaurants. However, since 1999 they have also supplied stages with sound reinforcement needs and have serviced acts such as Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Don Henley, Cold Play and networks such as ABC, NBC, Fox Sports and ESPN to name a few. With two offices in Southern California, CBC covers events and installs throughout the Southwest.
VUE is thrilled to add CBC Technical as a rental partner and for installations and sound reinforcement services.
