NEW YORK – Leaders of Avnu Alliance and Milan, the standards-based deterministic network protocol for real time media, will be presenting two sessions during AES New York 2023.

The session “The New Network Reality in Live Events” on Oct. 27 from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in Room 1E11 will present a path to network convergence, openness, and interoperability. Panelists will explore the benefits of network convergence; present specific use cases demonstrating what’s currently possible; and discuss how they plan to tackle the challenges ahead for the new reality in live events.

The paper presentation “Generic ProAV Network Model” on Oct. 27 from 10:15 am.-10:30 a.m. in Room 1E07 will offer a generic use case model grounded in real-world ProAV requirements, especially for live events and productions. The paper will clarify requirements, shape realistic expectations for products and implementations, and stimulate discussion for the next evolution of AV networking.

Both sessions will be held on Friday, October 27 in the Javits Convention Center in New York City and registration is available here.
