LOS ANGELES – ATK Audiotek oversaw the live audio production within 21,000-capacity Staples Center on Feb. 10 for the 61st Grammy Awards ceremony hosted by Alicia Keys. The crew coordinated a vast array of gear including JBL speakers, Crown and Powersoft amps, DiGiCo consoles and Shure, Audio-Technica and Sennheiser wireless systems. The event returned to the West Coast after the 60th event was staged at Madison Square Garden last year. Featured performers this year included Dolly Parton and Album of the Year winner Kacey Musgraves (pictured here), singing into custom Shure Axient Digital wireless mics.
