CHICAGO – Organized annually by Chicago's chamber of commerce, West Fest Chicago offers two days of live music and entertainment on Chicago Avenue at Damen. Audio Integration Services (AIS), the distributor for Void Acoustics in the U.S., supported the event.
AIS' Mathew Edgar provided four Air Motion speakers and 4 Stasys X for the main stage, which drew more than 2,000 revelers. He also installed two Airtens and two Arcline X subwoofers to the DJ monitors.
"The reaction to the sound system was incredible," Edgar said. "The true Chicago house-heads danced through the weekend, rain and shine. The Airmotion Stasys X Combo truly sounds amazing."
Striz, one of the DJs, also had good things to say about the Void Acoustics gear. "The sleek visual aesthetics of the tops drew curious passersby in for a closer look, and the immaculate audio clarity kept them front and center for the duration without fatigue! Even the most seasoned of Chicago night lifers were blown away by the rig, which rivals any club sound system in the city."
House music DJ Derrick Carter also performed, closing the two-day event.
