NEW YORK, NY – The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has announced details on its master class program, which take place as part of the 131st convention at Jacob Javits Convention Center Oct. 20-23.
AES Convention chair Jim Anderson noted that the master class program is "designed to provide authoritative insights into significant technical issues." He lauded returning AES Master Class chair Alan Silverman and the "audio industry icons" who are participating.
The roster of programs (and presenters) includes:
- Superstar Sessions (Tony Visconti)
- Human Hearing 101 – How It Works (Jim Johnston)
- The Hybrid Edit/Mix Approach to Post-Production Sound (Skip Lievsay)
- The Art Of Recording Large Orchestras for Feature Films (Gary Chester)
- The Fine Line Between Voicing and Design (Casey Dowdell/Brian Zolner)
