ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — ACIR Professional provided the audio rig and backline for the third annual Mothers Day Music Festival at 15,000-seat Boardwalk Hall here May 13. ACIR’s gear included two Yamaha PM5D digital audio consoles for FOH and monitors. The event featured Patti LaBelle, Johnny Gill and Charlie Wilson.
ACIR co-owner Ed DiBona, who supported the event at the FOH position, credited the PM5Ds for their sound quality, ease of use and reliability. The company also provided line arrays from d&b audiotechnik, d&b Q-SUBs for side fills and WorxAudio speakers for side PA. ACIR also provided an ample supply of microphones from Sennheiser, Shure, AKG and AudioTechnica, plus a Shure wireless system and in-ear monitor system from Sennheiser.
