Parnelli Voting Closes; Registration for Gala, Golf Still Open

LAS VEGAS — The 2014 U.S. midterm elections were drawing to a close as this edition of the FRONT of HOUSE newsletter was heading out the door. Within minutes, or at the most hours, the nation’s voting machines will become as inaccessible as the blank web page that replaced the 2014 Awards Ballot after Parnelli voting ended Oct. 31. Visitors to parnelliawards.com can still register for either the Parnelli gala (Nov. 22) at the MGM Grand or the Parnelli Classic Golf Tournament (Nov. 20) at Siena Golf Club in Las Vegas. But the “November surge” is on, and the window of opportunity is closing fast. If you haven’t yet reserved your spot (or table, or foursome) now is the time to snap up the few remaining tickets.

Hosted by Fee Waybill, the 2014 gala will honor Benny Collins with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Howard Ungerleider with the Visionary Award and Bob Goldstein with the Audio Innovator Award and present close to two dozen other Parnelli Awards to individuals, companies and products chosen by PLSN and FOH readers.

The 2013 Parnelli Awards gala was a sellout, with banquet crews rolling in last-minute tables for the 600-plus attendees. On the podium is Eric Pearce, winner of the 2013 Visionary Award. Photo by Adam Kaplan. As with every Parnelli Awards staged since the 2010 event, the 2014 gala is expected to be a sellout. If you haven’t yet done so, now’s the time to make your reservations to both the gala (Nov. 22, at the MGM Grand) and Parnelli Classic Golf Tournament (Nov. 20, at Siena Golf Club).
