LAS VEGAS — Each year FRONT of HOUSE Magazine honors regional sound production companies with our Hometown Heroes awards. These awards honor the best regional sound production company in six regions across North America: the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest and Canada. The best part about this is that FOH readers — the people who actually work with these companies — get to decide who’s really the best.
Sure, we could just come up with a list ourselves, but where’s the fun in that? We are looking for your ideas on the best regional sound production company in the U.S. and Canada. Let us know your faves (and, yes, you CAN nominate your own company).
Nominations are due by July 31, and regional finalists will be named shortly thereafter. Voting on the regional finalists will then take place, with regional winners determined by August 30. The winners for each region automatically become the finalists for the 2014 Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year Award, which will be presented at the Parnelli Awards Dinner scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
