This year’s Parnelli highlights will include the presentation of the Audio Innovator award to Dave Shadoan, the Lifetime Achievement Award to Charlie Hernandez and the Parnelli Visionary Award to Joe Branam. All of the other Parnelli Awards honoring excellence on the part of companies, individuals and products are up for grabs — and it all depends on YOU.
So be sure to go to www.parnelliawards.com/nominate and make sure YOUR voice is heard. There, you can nominate YOUR choice for best FOH mixer, Monitor Mixer, Sound Company, System Tech and more. There are also awards honoring companies involved in Lighting, Staging, Set Construction, Video, Rigging, Pyro, Trucking and Freight Forwarding.
Separately, FRONT of HOUSESHH readers also have been voting for the finalists in the annual competition for Hometown Hero Sound Company of the Year. Those winners, in five U.S. regions and all of Canada, will also appear on the Parnelli awards ballot next month. The deadline for Hometown Hero voting is Aug. 1.
